Zion National Park/Bryce Canyon
Utah
A Spiritual Adventure to southern Utah generally includes both Zion
National Park and Bryce Canyon because of their proximity to each other.
As we hike below the massive towering sandstone cliffs, ascend the
canyon walls, rappel into a slot canyon, so simply relax near the cold
waters of the Virgin River in Zion National Park; we do so with a sense
of marvel and wonder at what the Lord has done.
The hoodoos (red rock spires) that characterize Bryce Canyon in southern
Utah have been described as eerie or often whimsical, but
regardless
of the adjective you use to describe them, as you hike through this
magical place you cannot help but feel awed by God’s handiwork. The
canyon transcends 2000 ft so the park exists in 3 distinct climatic
zones adding even more interest to the hiking.
It is among the silence of the hoodoos and in the
shade of the ancient trees that we pause to renew our spirits.
