Zion Lutheran Church ELCA, Ashippun is hosting its annual Oktoberfest Celebration on Sunday, October 6, 2024. The celebration begins with a polka worship service at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Doug Andersen will preside over the service with music led by the Goodtime Dutchmen Band.
Following the worship service, we will gather for Gemütlichkeit under the Tent in the church basement offering beverages and raffles. At 11:00 the church fellowship hall will be the location for Ala Carte Food Items featuring Brat, Sloppy Joe and Homemade Weiner Sandwiches. Additional desserts and beverages will be available for purchase.
At 12:00 noon, we will gather in the basement for Polka Music and Dancing featuring the Goodtime Dutchmen Band until 4.p.m. Raffles and food will be available until 3p.m. Admission to the dance will be taken at the door.
